Structure
The study is designed as a long-term survey, repeatedly interviewing the same individuals over a period of 12 years. The initial sample will be drawn from German population registers and will include adult residents of Germany, regardless of nationality. The target baseline sample consists of approximately 75,000 individuals.
Mode
Data collection will take place in multiple panel waves using self-administered online and paper-based surveys. The focus will be on recurring panel modules to enable longitudinal analyses.
Add-ons
The study will also incorporate experimental designs, such as factorial survey experiments and questionnaire splits. Additionally, data users will have the opportunity to submit their own questions in open modules, allowing both panel designs and experiments. Calls for submissions are expected to be published in the course of 2025.
