Our Secure Data Center (SDC) provides data protection-compliant access to particularly sensitive GLEN data. On-site, GLEN data can be linked to small-scale regional data and geodata and analyzed. It is also possible to work with open-ended responses from the surveys.

To use the SDC, you must have an approved application to use GLEN data via GESIS. You can apply for this here.

The SDC offers two workstations and is located at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau at Erwin-Schrödinger-Straße 57, 67663 Kaiserslautern. We provide an analytical environment featuring R, Python, Stata, and QGIS, with access to a high-performance computer. Use of the GLEN SDC itself is free of charge; however, travel and lodging expenses are not covered.
